★★★★★I was notified of a recall on my 2015 Ford Escape transmission. I live in north Stafford, so I had a choice of Koons in Woodbridge and Purvis in Fredericksburg: both 17 miles from my house. I called Purvis and they told me if I did not want to sit and wait, I could rent a car as they have no loaners. I inquired why, if my vehicle was being serviced for poor assembly by Ford which resulted in a safety hazard, I must pay to have transportation for the day or back to my home. I was told that's just how it is, but they have a shuttle for a 10 mile maximum. That does not get me anywhere near my home. I contacted Koons. They stated they will come and pick-up my vehicle for me, service it, then bring it home for no cost (concierge service), and I got an appointment only two days out. The driver showed up on time with updates on his progress to and from my home. When my vehicle was done, I received the same updates on it's return and it was delivered to my driveway. Everyone I spoke to for the pick-up and service were wonderful and helpful. THIS is what customer service is all about, especially when the reason for repair was the fault of Ford Motor Company (not even Koons' fault). If I choose to buy new in the future, I will go to Koons, and if I desire dealer service, I will do the same.
