We had our Mini in for routine service recently, and after we left, I noticed a couple of dash warning that I hadn't noticed before. Calling Steve in service, he patiently, and expertly, walked me thru what might be causing the issues. Together, we solved the problem, which wasn't actually a probelm at all, but rather just normal car safety checks. Steve's knowledge and background resolved the issue completely. ★★★★★Wow, a car dealership service area that truly values it's customers! After a really awful interaction with Checkered Flag MINI in Virginia Beach, I feared customer service had disappeared at car dealers but Crown MINI is OUTSTANDING!! Their app made it very easy to book an appointment to wait with the vehicle, there were text and email reminders, an easy link for directions, and welcoming staff at the desk on arrival. Trayvon is AMAZING! He clearly explained all steps, he was patient and personable, and he caught that my state inspectionnwas overdue and smoothly added it to my oil change request. I felt awful I'd overlooked that when booking my service and very appreciate their noting it and accommodating me. The waiting area was comfortable and pleasant with a large screen TV, complimentary coffee AND tea, with a variety of seating - some comfortable club chairs were near the TV while others were set away from it and there was a very large table with counter height chairs if you wanted to spread out and have a workspace. Very thoughtful! The bathrooms were so clean, I thought they were brand new. Crown MINI was an easy 90 minute drive from the Hampton Roads area up 64, then maybe 5 minutes off the highway from there. Returning was just as easy with access to 64 maybe 3 minutes away. I was so happy from my positive experience that I took some back roads home along 10 through Surry and Smithfield and just enjoyed driving my MINI, feeling valued and a customer. This is what MINI and customer service are about!! The service manager is also a tech and is very clearly committed to running a great shop. Well done, folks!!
