I recently visited Koons Woodbridge Ford for a check engine light that was coming on intermittently. I contacted Derek Anderson in the Service Dept. asked me to drop off the truck so his technicians could check it out. This problem had been observed previously and thought to be fixed on a previous visit. However after a recurrence, Derek had his technicians dig deeper into the issue and determined that the exhaust cam phasors were actually the root cause of the problem. This is a known issue that comes up with these engines. Derek was able to turn this repair around inside of 24 hours after the diagnosis. Derek explained the issue in some level of detail and i have to admit, he really does a superb job in connecting with his customers and doing the best possible job for them keeping his customers informed every step of the way. I used to go to a different Ford Dealer but Derek has won me over and Koons Woodbridge Ford is the only Ford Dealer that I will go to from now on. Derek gets 5 stars from me and this is the same kind of service I get from Derek every time I visit this dealership!
